My work aims to take a critical view of social, political and cultural issues. I engage with subjects that include generational poverty, the plight of working class citizens, and the disenfranchisement of modern creatives. My work is designed to be a visceral experience; to be understood in the mind and felt in the body. I attempt to capture the timeless through the lens of now. I believe growth should be constant and we should seek to find contrast in life's daily moments. - D.F.
